Hemm tlett sinjali differenti għal RUNNING SHOES. L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal ŻARBUN. Id waħda tieqaf fuq quddiem forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id l-oħra, ukoll forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel, timxi fuq l-id il-wieqfa, mis-swaba’ sal-polz qisu biex timsaħ il-wiċċ tal-id. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal SPORTS. Iż-żewġ idejn iżommu l-forma ta’ ponn u jiltaqgħu fuq quddiem. Il-ponnijiet iduru kontra xulxin darbtejn. It-tieni sinjal ukoll għandu żewġ partijiet. L-idejn iduru ma’ xulxin xi darbtejn imbagħad jersqu lura lejn il-ġnub. It-tielet sinjal għandu parti waħda biss li tixbaħ it-tieni parti tat-tieni sinjal. Id-differenza hi li l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ T u l-idejn iduru xi tlett darbiet dwar xulxin.

There are three different signs for RUNNING SHOES. The first sign has two parts. (i) First the sign for SHOE is made. One hand is held stationary at the front in the shape of 5 with palm facing downwards. The other hand, also in the shape of 5 with palm facing downwards, slides over the top of the stationary hand from fingers to wrist as though wiping it. (ii) Then the sign for SPORTS is made. Both hands keep the same fist shape and meet at the front. The fists rotate against each other twice. The second sign also has two parts. (i) First the sign for SHOE as in the first part of the first sign is made. (ii) Then the sign for BOW is made with the first three fingers of both hands close or touching. The hands turn over each other about twice and then they move back towards the sides. The third sign has only one part which resembles the second part of the second sign. The difference is that the handshape used is that for T and the hands turn over each other about three times.
